Caterpillar Craft

Here is an easy craft you can do with your kids!  It only requires a few items that are easily found at the dollar store!

How To Make Your Caterpillar Craft

All you need is:

1 School Glue

1 Package of Pom Poms

Googly Eyes

Clothes Pins

First we pulled out the clothes pins.  We had 5 so each kid could make 2 caterpillars and I made one to show them how to do it.

I let each kid pick out the colors they wanted for their caterpillar.  5 small pom poms and 1 medium size pom pom.  After they picked out their colors I put a line of school glue down one side of the clothes pin.  They put the pom poms on in the order they wanted.  The big one first close to the opening and then the rest follow behind to make a good pattern.

My boy knows the colors of the rainbow so he made a rainbow caterpillar!  He picked out them in order.  It was so fun to watch him create it!

The very end is where you put the googly eyes on. They picked out what size they wanted and then I helped them put a dot of glue on the eye and put it on.  The hardest part was letting everything dry!

My kids loved this craft and they really had fun doing it! I let them do most with just a little help and they really did a good job!  This is an easy craft it will only take a few minutes which is perfect for those little attention spans.  My 2 year old girl was happy to do it and it held her attention for a good amount of time.  My 4 year old loved it and wanted to do more but we ran out of clothes pins!

I got all my supplies at the dollar store!  Not an expensive craft at all!
