I wanted to do this project I created called a “Family Birthday Binder”. I decided that it would be a good idea to make a binder where I could keep a folder on each family member and stock up on birthday cards. It is much easier to plan things in advance.
The budget was tight, but I was so determined to get this project done. I had already spent the planned amount for crafting for the week and I wasn’t sure how the next couple weeks would go, so I decided that I would try to do this project free.
I needed dividers and I needed folders, but I didn’t want to spend any money…so…I made my own out of things I already had!
Here’s what you will need:
- 1 pencil
- 1 three ring binder
- 1 three ring hole punch (any hole punch will do but you will have to measure the distance if you use just a single hole punch. So you might want to grab a ruler too if you just have a single.)
- 12 X 12 paper
- old dividers to trace
- stick glue
- clear tape
- a printer (or you can just write on them with a marker if you don’t have a printer)
- paper for the printer (if you decide to print out labels or make your own)
