In Your Hands was a challenge I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to complete. I had to get a little creative as I took this on.
This one brought out my creative writing skills and I wrote a poem about my children and how I love them so dearly. I feel time is split in half, which is true with divorce. It just isn’t the same as when I was a stay-at-home. Although we don’t have the easiest life, I know that God has blessed us and He truly has blessed me with my amazing children. I am constantly amazed at the things they do and their view on the world. Therefore being their mom is the best thing that ever happened to me.
This photo challenge is definitely a good one that may bring out your own creativity. While you read think of your own children if you like. Here’s to my kids and their sweet spirits that I have the privilege of mothering for this life and hopefully the next.
In Your Hands
In your hands I lay my heart, I love, I laugh, I play my part. I hope you will find joy and peace, as I watch you play with leaves. Your tiny hands are small and kind, so small and fragile, just like mine. Every day I hope you know, its bitter sweet to see you grow. Your hands now small will one day know, and soon forget the cotton snow. On you will go,on you will shine, until one day no longer mine. But for today we play with pearls, and I will laugh and watch you twirl. The time slips by, and my heart breaks, as you grow up before my face. Time split in half seems so unfair, this is our lot, you are my heir. I love you now, forever more, I know eternity is in store. By Lacy Range (Mama Lacy)
